Delirium Tremens VIII
By Steven Greyheart
Thomas is in his seventies
and in the psych ward with me
because he wants to harm
himself and his ex-wife,
and he goes to a progressive church,
and he tells me that, at first,
when he saw me, he was worried
I was a serial killer
because of my eyes,
but he simultaneously
thought I was a rock star
because of my long hair,
and that is flattering,
and right now, he’s teaching me
how to play King’s Corner
before I am discharged
in two hours.my little brother’s eyes were pained
when he dropped off my paliperidone.
